RCC General Meeting

EASTMORELAND GOLF CLUB
Janet Sakakibara, VP called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and welcomed everyone to the meeting.
The Acting Secretary, Vicky McCoy stated she did not have minutes from the last meeting. The Board Members present were, VP Janet Sakakibara, Treasurer Linda Connors. Roger Tooker, Jim Peterson and Anna Weese were absent.

Treasurer’s report was given by Linda Connors.
Vice President Report-Janet Sakakibara commented on the following upcoming events:
· October 15th, Apple Tour - Jim and Wendi Peterson and Jeanette Cross hosting. Meet at Lewis and Clark Park then go to the Harvest Festival for a couple of hours and the apple farms. Group to end up at the ICE HOUSE in Oregon City.
· 6:30 pm October 21—Gresham High School drivers for Home Coming
· Nov 5th Our Sponsor, Nancy will be having a 100th Chevrolet Anniversary Celebration on Suburban. Come early and stay till it’s over at 3:00 pm
· Nov 5th NWACC Banquet. Red Lion in Longview, Washington. Board meeting is at 3:00 pm, Banquet starts at 6:00 pm
· Janet stated that there was no report for the Christmas Party Dec. 3rd. A report would be following at the next meeting from Anna Weese, Xmas Chairperson
Merchandise report: Dave is considering having an auction to sell current inventory and restocking with new.

NWACC Report: Vicky reported that the last NWACC Board meeting of the year will be at 3:00 pm Red Lion Hotel in Longview. Those attending the Anniversary at Nancy’s will be able to get to Longview in plenty of time for the Annual NWACC Banquet at 6:00 pm. Registrations for Banquet on line at NWACC under Events
National Corvette Museum: Mike Mermelstein reported he is looking for donations for Care Packages to be sent to Military Personnel overseas. He will bring more info to our next meeting. It was moved by Dave Raahan and seconded by John Moist that a Subcommittee be formed under our existing Charity Committee to bring the information and suggestions for implementation of the donations and Care Packages to a future club meeting. Motion passed.

Business/Unfinished Business The Club
Treasurer wrote a check to NWACC for the club insurance which is due
this week. The check amount was $1552.00. Vicky McCoy, NWACC Rep will
get the money and rooster delivered to the appropriate NWACC Officer.
John Moist announced to the membership, that the insurance monies paid
to NWACC totaled only $50. more than non-NWAC competitive insurance
companies he had researched for RCC.
Good of the Corvette- It was suggested Corvette enthusiasts should Google “2014 Corvette” to see the radical changes in the new car.
Raffle was held: NO, Peterson absent
Ping Pong Ball: NO, Peterson absent
Meeting was adjourned by Janet Sakakibara at 8:05 pm.
