We drew for Ms. Oregon contest first. Chuck asked if the Club will pay for the banners this year as he has always paid for it in the past. He said it would be $150.00 or so. The Treasurer stated that the event has been an a previous event for years the budget is preapproved so it would be paid for as well as the Gette’s Bar B Q event.

· June 11th Golf Tournament. Nick Trujillo 9 hole tourney shot gun start at 1pm. Free food and playing at Sandalee Golf Course in Tualatin. Bring putter and balls. $14.00 and the cart is $9.00 and there are enough carts for everyone.
· July 2nd Ms. Oregon BBQ at the Gette’s in Seaside. The usual bar-b-q food.

· Summer Fun Good for your Corvette event- the old Corvette Classic clean-up day has been renamed and the Connors is still going to put on the event at JC Motors. There will be a Bar B Q and raffle. Starts at 10 a.m. on July 24th. Everyone wanted to do the White Elephant exchange also.
· President’s Mystery Tour Sept. 9th – 11th. Roger stated the he needed to know by the end of this month who was going as the place requires a $75.00 deposit for each room by June 8th. The event will be around $300.00.
· Anna Weese asked for a show of hands on who was interested in attending the Holiday party. About 21 couples showed interest. We need at least 40 to make the $2K commitment. Due to the clubs current financial situation ($5K in cancellation fees due to the Classic being cancelled) she did not want to commit the club to more financial situations that we may not be able to make therefore, she has not turned in the contract. Based on the interest it appears no Christmas party will occur.
Past Events:
· Memorial Day Tour in Canada with the Beymer’s chairing. Nick Bailey stated what happens in Canada stays in Canada. Said they all had a great time.
· June 4th Car tour to the Lemay Auto Museum. There were about 1500 cars. Visited an Old military school ran by nuns with a lot of nice cars. A ton of antique stuff to view in Mrs. Lemay’s museum.
· Non-sanctioned RCC event: Linda Connors reported on five couples going to Whitefish, Montana for the 40th FunSeekers Corvette and Yacht Club event. She announced that the Connors took second place with their 57’ but they were humbled and honored to see Jerry and Anna Weese not only take 1st place in the C-1 division but also People’s Choice as well as Best in Show. It was a great event and the West’s, Logue’s, Connors, Weese’s along with new members Bill Klein and Robin Forrer all had a great time. There was a poker walk at night, Fishing Olympics, Funkhana and a Road Rally besides the Show n Shine, Auto Cross and Track day. Linda C. stated it was great to see how another club puts on an event.

Old Business/Unfinished business:
Roger announced that the Bylaws had one more session with the Board and then we would bring to the members for a vote.
Classic Contracts: Anna Weese asked for a report on the cancelling of the Classic Contracts with the Red Lion and to let the members know what was going on. Roger read the note that was given to each Board member that was from the Red Lion (not on their letterhead) which stated RCCs Classic cancellation fees would be an additional $4k along with the $1k deposit that was not refundable. However, we can use the $4k for 2012’s classic if we have it. If not, we forfeit the $4K money paid. Jeanette Cross brought up utilizing some or all of the $4K money at Jantzen Beach Red Lion for the Christmas Party. Several members thought it was a good idea and some did not. Anna Weese asked the membership the following question….How many of you last year at this time would have said a resounding YES if asked whether or not RCC would put on a Classic in 2011. Then she said there are no guarantees right now that we will be putting one on in 2012 with all the current situations in the club. So it is definitely worth looking into regarding the Xmas party instead of possibly losing the money all together. Anna stated she would look into the possibility and report on it at the next meeting.
Roger in his explaining the issues referred to the infighting and disagreements and Nick Bailey asked what fights had been going on as they do not have internet so they do not receive the meeting minutes and they haven’t been to a meeting in a while. Roger began explaining to Nick and the rest of the members what had been going on over the past few months. More discussion ensued and finally Nick told Roger that he was the President and he needed to rally the members and get this all behind us and start off fresh and to get the positive camaraderie going for the club. Mike Mermelstein agreed and said we cannot go forward without forgetting all of this stuff and move forward. Karen Reid stated that she would think about putting on the Classic next year but we need key members to get behind the event chair no matter whom it is and help out. Joe Foteff stated that maybe we go back to basics and start off slow next year for the classic.
A member stated that we need to put all the past BS behind us and move forward and asked the members are you willing to stand up to help the chairs of the events and put the fun back in this club. Linda Connors stated she and her husband were willing to put the entire BS behind them and with the rallying approximately half of the members responded with clapping.
Linda Connors stated that a group of members did get the inventory moved out of Cohen’s and anyone wanting to help document the inventory that it would begin June 13th at 10am at her house. Several members volunteered to help.
