Old Business/Unfinished Business:
The vote
for decision of the $4K on deposit with the Red Lion was held. The final
vote was for holding the
Christmas party (option 1C) charging each member attending full price of
the dinner. Thus potentially
recouping part or all of the money lost due to cancelling the classic
and put the dollars recovered back into the general RCC fund.
This would depend on the number of attendees.
Karen
Reid volunteered to Chair the Classic or some Car party in 2012 as long
as she had the help of the club members.
Linda
Connors reported that all the missing inventory items were found and in
the Quartermaster’s possession. Other decisions made by the members with
a show of hands were that a mannequin will be given to a local artist.
And past Classic T-Shirts will be given to a charity such as the Tornado
victims. In addition, it was determined by the members present that no
one seems to care about “Members of the Year” so no past
names will be added to the plaque that were not already there.
It was
announced that the Tanners will not be hosting the Halloween/Casino
party this year. The Connors
offered to host the Halloween party and the Weese’s will co-host.
We will be playing Bunco and the tradition of costumes and
potluck will continue.
Bob
Anderson announced that his group will be playing at the Chautauqua
Festival on Saturday night August 6th and encouraged many
members to come and enjoy the street dance.
