President Roger Tooker called the meeting to order at 7:30 and welcomed everyone to the meeting.

The Secretary and Treasurer were not present.

New Members: Jim Macdevitt  who has a 2000 yellow corvette.

VP report - Janet Sakakibara reported that Drive-in night was postponed to sat Sept 17th

President’s Mystery Tour - this is the last meeting before we go on the event. We will be meeting at Nancy's @ 7am. Bring things--something you'd be doing, such as golfing, fishing, swimming, pass ports, snow shoes ???!!! We will be leaving at 7:30, that's all I can tell you. Just show up.

Roger also mentioned that "some people" aren't attending events because they see someone’s name on the sign up list and then they don't show up to the event. That is wrong; we all need to support these events as a club and member. People put a lot of effort into putting these events together and it's not right to do that. That's just what he's heard.

Roger also read a letter regarding a situation that happened at the Miss Oregon BBQ.
Letter from the Boeller’s and it was something about the bar b q and something that happened and they weren't happy about it and will not be back to the club, blah blah blah...Roger did not elaborate on what it was and the letter did not say specifically.

NWACC:  auto cross in Shelton on Sept 18th, last one, otherwise no report.
Oct--22nd Halloween night--Connors will be hosting

Past events-- Ed's chili cook off--small attendance we need to support events, everyone needs to be involved

Jerry- announced that he and several RCC members went to Cottage Grove--2 weeks ago--18 trophies were presented at the event, out of those 18 -- our group took home 10 of them.
RCC members in attendance. Bailey’s,Beymer’s,Connor’s,Carpenter’s,Logue’s Sommersets, Janet Sakakibara  Dave Raaahahn, West’s, and Weese’s.

Upcoming elections-- if you have a desire to run put your name up for election
Nominations will be in September meeting.
Voting 2^nd general meeting in October.
You must be in club 1 year to be an officer

FYI from Robin F. 3 yrs away 2014 Aug. 22nd. for Corv Nationals Corv caravan
start thinking about it many things to do, plan will be fun, it'll take 6 days to get there, see a  private collection on ranch. plans are going good,  am hoping corvette club to give support that Friday for caravan and support with orientation start of event that day
